Expert Evaluations, Tailored to You
At Clary Clinic, we offer a range of neuropsychological evaluations to meet you where you are.
Whether you need a comprehensive assessment or a more targeted evaluation, Dr. Lee will make sure you get the level of care that actually answers your questions.
Neuropsychological Evaluation
Our most thorough option is designed for individuals whose concerns are complex, overlapping, or not yet clearly defined. This evaluation covers the full range of cognitive and emotional functioning — attention, memory, executive skills, language, intelligence, academics, and social-emotional health — and is appropriate for any age from 6 through older adulthood.
Includes: intake session, full day of individualized testing, expert analysis, detailed written report, and a feedback session with Dr. Lee.
Targeted
Evaluation
In some cases, when concerns are very specific and a full evaluation isn’t necessary, Dr. Lee may offer a targeted evaluation at a reduced cost. These are available on a case-by-case basis and must be approved by Dr. Lee to ensure you’re receiving the right level of assessment for your situation. Current focused evaluation options include:
● ADHD Evaluation — targeted assessment of attention, executive function, and related concerns
● Dyslexia Evaluation — targeted assessment of reading, phonological processing, and language-based learning
● Dementia & Memory Evaluation — for patients experiencing memory or cognitive changes who are not covered under Medicare Part B
Targeted evaluations follow the same high standard of care as our comprehensive evaluations — the scope is simply more targeted to your specific concern. Not sure which is right for you? Just reach out, and we’ll help you figure it out.
Independent Educational Evaluation
If your child has been evaluated by their school district and you disagree with the results — or feel the evaluation didn’t fully capture your child’s needs — you may have the right to request an Independent Educational Evaluation at the district’s expense.
An IEE is a comprehensive neuropsychological evaluation conducted by a qualified independent provider — rather than by school district staff. Because it’s independent, it often provides a fuller, more nuanced picture of your child’s strengths and challenges, and carries significant weight in educational planning and IEP decisions.
Dr. Lee is qualified to conduct IEEs, and the process follows the same thorough standard as our comprehensive evaluation. In many cases, the school district is required to fund it — meaning there may be little to no cost to your family.
If you’ve received a school evaluation and have questions about whether an IEE might be right for your child, reach out. We’re happy to help you understand your options.
