You Deserve Answers — and a Team That Cares

Most people who reach out to us have been carrying their questions for a long time. Maybe you’ve been told everything is fine, but it doesn’t feel fine. Maybe you’ve had evaluations before that left you with more questions than answers. Maybe you just need someone to take the time to really understand what’s going on. That’s exactly what we’re here for.

What to Expect:
The Evaluation Process

Step 1 — Intake Session (60–90 minutes)

Before your evaluation, you'll complete an in-depth intake packet. At the intake session — available via telehealth or in person — Dr. Lee reviews your background, listens to your concerns, and makes sure the evaluation is tailored specifically to you.

Step 2 — Testing

Testing is conducted in person and tailored to your individual needs. We schedule only one patient per day, so you'll have a calm, comfortable experience with our full attention.

Step 3 — Feedback Session (60 minutes)

After testing, you'll meet with Dr. Lee to review your results in plain language. You'll have time to ask questions and understand what the findings mean for you and your life.

Step 4 — Written Report

Within approximately five weeks of your feedback session, you'll receive a thorough written report outlining your strengths, challenges, and personalized recommendations. With your permission, we can share this with teachers, physicians, or other providers.

Frequently
Asked
Questions

  • We provide evaluations for patients across the lifespan — children ages 6 and up, adolescents, adults, and older adults. Early childhood evaluations are considered on a case-by-case basis.

  • Dr. Lee is an out-of-network provider for most insurance plans, except Medicare Part B.

  • Very possibly, yes. Many of our patients are surprised by how much their insurance reimburses for out-of-network care— often up to 50–80% of the evaluation cost. We work directly with you rather than billing insurance (except for Medicare Part B), which means after your evaluation, we provide you with a superbill — everything your insurance needs to process your claim. We’ll walk you through how to use it.

  • Because it lets us put your needs first — not an insurance company’s. When insurance dictates care, it often limits which tests can be run, how long an evaluation can take, and what gets documented in your medical record. By working directly with you, we can conduct a truly thorough evaluation, tailored specifically to your situation, without those constraints.

It also means your results stay private. Your evaluation is only added to your medical record if you choose to share it.

And practically speaking, in-network neuropsychology practices often have wait times of 6–12 months or more. We see patients within 4 weeks. For a child struggling in school or an adult waiting on answers, that difference matters.

  • In some cases, when concerns are very specific and a full evaluation isn’t necessary, Dr. Lee may offer a more targeted evaluation. Examples include ADHD-only assessments, dyslexia evaluations, and dementia or memory-specific evaluations for patients not covered under Medicare Part B.

These follow the same high standard of care as our comprehensive evaluations — the scope is simply more targeted to your specific concern.

Targeted evaluations aren’t the right fit for every situation, and Dr. Lee reviews each request individually to make sure you’re getting the level of assessment that will actually answer your questions. If you’re wondering whether a targeted evaluation might be appropriate for you or your child, just reach out — we’re happy to talk it through.

  • We accept cash, debit/credit cards, check, HSA, FSA, and HRA. We also offer CareCredit for flexible monthly payment options — a great choice if you’d prefer to spread the cost over time.

To reserve your appointment, one-third of the total cost is required at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due the day before your testing and feedback appointments.

  • A superbill is the document your insurance company needs to reimburse you for out-of-network services. It includes the procedure codes (CPT) and diagnosis codes (ICD-10) from your evaluation — essentially a detailed, insurance-ready receipt. We provide it automatically after your evaluation and will help you understand exactly how to submit it. You shouldn’t have to figure that out on your own.

  • Use the contact form on this website, call or text us at (320) 247-4068, or send a fax to (218) 656-7265. No referral needed — just reach out and we'll take it from there.
